2005.05.30 CONCORD - 2005 mid-year Press release

Concord's 'The first concert ever' on May 20 at The Bassline Jazz Club, Johannesburg was a great success. It was also recorded live for both CD & DVD. The release of the CD/DVD will be in late 2006.

Concord continues to market & distribute his debut CD 'The time, The season' independently through his own record label DROCNOC MUSIC. He has also succeeded in reaching a broader & international audience through his website www.concordcreativity.com

Currently, Concord is part of the Johnny Clegg Europe/USA 2005 Tour. 'This is an amazing opportunity for me to learn how things are done on the international stage and then bring those skills back to help develop our SA music industry. This is also a good time to network and explore global opportunities', says Concord.

Concord continues to be one of those 'new breed' musicians who are working hard at taking South African music to a higher & a more respectable level, locally & globally. His stance as an independent artist and label has helped many SA artists realise other opportunities & possibilities for their own careers.
