The much awaited follow up album from concord is finally available!

“This is my world” follows the very successful debut album “the time, the season”, which saw Concord become a leader and an icon to aspiring independent recording artists. This opened opportunities for him to conduct workshops with both young and experienced musicians on music business matters. For this contribution & more, towards the development of South African music & Jazz, Concord received the Standard Bank Young Artist Award for Jazz – 2006.

“This is my world”: released, marketed & distributed by Drocnoc Music, is a 17 track album that also showcases Concord’s skills as a song-writer, arranger, producer and musician. The music also features some of South Africa’s most exciting musicians such as: Tamara Dey(Vocals); Louis Mhlanga(Guitar); Maduvha Madima(Vocals) and many others.


The songs are well crafted, with substance and still able to make you ‘shake it’. “These are songs that I trust will speak to your world as much as they did to mine”, expresses Concord.



Concord’s mission to bring people of the world together is still consistent on this offering. He creatively explores languages such as TshiVenda, IsiZulu, SeSotho, Spanish, Chinese(Mandarin) & English. This results in a sound that can be enjoyed by anyone, anywhere in the world. “This is my world” has potential to find a place in every listener’s world.
The first single from this album, “Ko hae/Hayani”, has already been doing very well on Radio, climbing some music charts. The CD is now available in stores.
